1957 Landrover Series 1 two litre petrol, Ex military vehicle, first registered for the road in 1963, Fully restored and with hardened valves to run on unleaded fuel. With new galvanised chassis and bulkhead. New wiring throughout, key and V5, lots of paperwork and receipts, registration 172 FUL, registered as historic vehicle

Important note

The present owner acquired the vehicle in March 2002 and was restored and had a new galvanised chassis fitted in 2003. The vehicle is sold with a range of paperwork including V5C, invoices, old MOT’s and photocopies of old documents.

In checking this there appears to be a discrepancy in the chassis number and registration number and the actual vehicle. The chassis number and registration number were originally applied to a 1954 86 inch wheelbase ex RAF vehicle, however the Landrover we are selling is clearly a 1956 or 1957 88 inch wheelbase version. We therefore assume that in the distant past the chassis number and registration number were incorrectly placed on this vehicle. The V5C means that the vehicle can still be legitimately driven on the road.
